Sadie and Sasha are now spending their days at the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA. The staff has created a stellar environment for them. They get the primo spot in the lobby as well as TWO great posters and a video display so visitors can see a slideshow of photos of how they are in a real home.
It really does take a village. The staff of the SPCA puts in extra effort for these sweet girls because they know how special they are and what a rough start to life they had. Sadie and Sasha are still shy in that environment, but they are feeling the love!
Stop by and visit if you can. They are ready to go home and start their real lives!
Many thanks to everyone at the SPCA for taking such good care of S&S. The posters and slideshow are terrific and sum up who S&S really are. These two little girls are so worth all the attention. We are confident they will make great pets for that special person who chooses them.

Sadie and Sasha are doing well! On Tuesday when I took them to their overnight room, both girls were wagging their tails and were very excited about the few extra treats I put in their dinner bowl. I've been off Wed., Thurs., and Fri., but I stopped by yesterday to bring my foster kittens in and sat with the girls for a while. I think Sadie is definitely warming up to me more, but hopefully Sasha won't be far behind!
ReplyDeleteA sweet younger woman sat with the girls for about an hour on Tuesday and feed them lots of treats (which they were eating in front of her!). She read all their posters and watched the slideshow, so hopefully she's been showing up while I'm off... maybe she'll even take one of the girls!
